Kamal Jung Kunwar has been active in the field of forest, wildlife and environment conservation for the last two decades. He played a crucial role in the conservation of rhinos during his tenure as an assistant warden and the head of the Anti-poaching Operation Unit of the Chitwan National Park, Nepal from 2003 to 2007. Four Years for the Rhino is based on his experience about rhino conservation.
As its body was cut up to look for the bullet, we saw a foctus of about 13 or 14 months. My eyes welled up with tears at the sight. The bullet had passed right above the baby and struck the rhino’s heart. Since it was an iron rod bullet, we were sure thar the gun was home-made.
